[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Junhyung] On the 17th, the whole country will be mostly clear, but temperatures will drop by about 10 to 15 degrees compared to the previous day, and cold wave warnings will be issued in various parts of the country.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between -3°C and 7°C, and the daytime high temperatures between 10°C and 16°C. Very strong winds will blow mainly along the west coast and Jeju Island.
Sea waves will range from 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, and from 0.5 to 4.0 meters in the West Sea and South Sea coastal waters. In the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 1.5 to 5.0 meters in the East Sea, 1.5 to 5.0 meters in the West Sea, and 1.5 to 5.0 meters in the South Sea.
Since very strong winds and very high waves will occur across all seas, vessels engaged in navigation or fishing should exercise caution.
