Kyungbang Opens 'TimeStream' Shopping Mall Targeting MZ Generation in Sillim, Seoul

[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] Kyungbang Times Square announced on the 14th that it will open an urban shopping platform called 'Time Stream' in Sillim, Seoul next month.

It is a renovation of the existing 'Podo Mall', consisting of a total floor area of 38,000㎡ from basement level 2 to the 15th floor above ground.

Time Stream aims for a new consumption style called 'Streaming Life', which has permeated all aspects of our daily lives. It provides a sensory culture, fashion, and food & beverage (F&B) platform so that young consumers can experience content 'as they want' and 'according to their taste' anytime and anywhere, beyond just buying and owning products.

It is organized into three concepts: 'Streaming Style', composed of SPA (Specialty store retailer of Private label Apparel) brands and street brands; 'Streaming View', which includes Lotte Cinema and Youngpoong Bookstore; and 'Streaming Taste', consisting of popular restaurants.

Additionally, with accessibility directly connected to the exit of Sillim Station on Subway Line 2 and the shopping mall entrance, as well as the flow of people, it aims to be a 'complex cultural space closely connected to the daily lives of the younger generation.'

A representative from Times Square said, "It is composed of culture, fashion, and F&B brands optimized for the demand and trends of the MZ generation," adding, "We will continuously expand customer-centered content so that Time Stream can establish itself as a landmark representing the Sillim commercial district."
