[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Eun-mo] SK Telecom announced on the 14th that it will carry out the 'Today is SK Sports Time' campaign for one month until the 14th of next month to support a healthy Korea through the activation of everyday sports.
Those who wish to participate in 'Today is SK Sports Time' can enjoy everyday sports such as running and jump rope, which anyone can easily do regardless of age or gender, and post photos on SNS with the hashtags ‘Today is SK Sports Time’ and the name of one of the three sponsored athletes.
Participants in the campaign can also receive generous prizes. Through a weekly draw, prizes such as the ‘Galaxy Note20’, ‘Apple Watch 7’, and ‘AirPods Pro’ will be given. Additionally, among those who post daily during the campaign period, one person will be selected by lottery to receive a ‘Galaxy Z Flip3’. The lottery results can be checked on the Instagram account operated by SK Telecom’s Sports Marketing Group.
As part of this campaign, SK Telecom will also provide sponsorship to athletes symbolizing the past, present, and future of Korean sports. Sponsorship funds will be given to Lee Bong-ju, who elevated Korea’s status through marathon in the past; current national rugby player Andre Jin; and Biwesa, who will be responsible for the future of Korean athletics.
Oh Kyung-sik, head of SK Telecom’s Sports Marketing Group, said, "We planned this campaign to contribute to creating a healthy Korea through everyday sports and to support athletes from various sports. Just as we support para-cycling and children aging out of care, we will continue to actively pursue ESG activities through sports."
