[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Mesh Korea announced on the 14th that it will strengthen its customer management capabilities in collaboration with Salesforce, the world's largest customer relationship management (CRM) platform.
Mesh Korea, which operates the comprehensive distribution logistics brand VROONG, plans to solidify and aggressively expand its sales network by adding Salesforce's digital CRM capabilities. CRM refers to a customer-centric business strategy that drives new markets and sales based on customer management and data analysis.
Through this management of customer and sales data, the strategy is to discover new business areas, quickly capture the mid- to long-term business needs of key customers, and connect these insights to proactive sales activities.
At the 'Salesforce Live Korea 2021' webinar held the previous day, Tak Jung-wook, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of Mesh Korea, shared VROONG's CRM strategy enabled by Salesforce's solutions and the ongoing digital innovation methodologies in the distribution logistics sector.
Tak Jung-wook, CSO, stated, "Mesh Korea, which has over 350 corporate clients, continues to generate sales opportunities, and to manage these more systematically and efficiently, we have decisively adopted Salesforce."
He added, "Through this CRM adoption, we will accumulate and analyze data to create opportunities to reward our clients with more optimized services. We will expand CRM usage beyond simple sales management to various marketing activities and partner management to achieve true data innovation."
Mesh Korea is focusing on the asymmetry of fragmented information in the distribution and logistics industries. Data on end consumers is individually owned by distributors, making logistics optimization impossible, and the absence of integrated distribution data causes sellers to lose opportunities for sustainable growth through consumer analysis.
Mesh Korea is building a virtuous cycle in the distribution logistics ecosystem by integrating and transparently providing real data collected from services offered to its clients.
Tak Jung-wook, CSO, said, "Through CRM enhancement with Salesforce, we will discover new insights in finance, real estate, robotics, blockchain, and more within the distribution logistics industry and share these with all our clients."
Son Bu-han, CEO of Salesforce Korea, stated, "While many existing B2B companies have adopted Salesforce's CRM, Mesh Korea is pioneering CRM adoption in the distribution logistics industry to lead a new digital innovation paradigm. Beyond strategic CRM, we will spare no support as a strategic partner to help discover new insights across all aspects of logistics business."
Meanwhile, Salesforce recently attracted global industry attention by acquiring the digital collaboration tool company Slack. Mesh Korea has also been an early adopter of Slack as an internal collaboration tool, building digital transformation (DX) not only for external business but also for company-wide operations.
