[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Miryang City, Gyeongnam Province, will hold an 'Online Job Fair' from the 27th to the 29th.
According to the city on the 13th, to encourage the participation of sound small and medium-sized enterprises, the Miryang City Job Support Center recruited companies from the 23rd of last month to the 8th of this month. As a result, about 50 companies will participate and plan to hire around 100 people.
Participating companies will be provided with free online recruitment hall services and non-face-to-face video interviews, and job seekers will receive online employment consulting such as resume writing methods.
Job seekers can participate by accessing the dedicated 'Miryang City Job Fair' website from the 18th to the 22nd. A link to download the video interview app will be sent to those who pass the first document screening, and the interview will be conducted through this.
The interviews will be held from the 27th to the 29th, and job seekers will record and send video responses to the questions provided by the companies. Companies will review the response videos and immediately decide on acceptance or, if necessary, conduct face-to-face interviews after the event depending on the situation.
Unlike previous years, this year, job seekers who have difficulties using the app can visit the Hope Dream Employment Support Center to receive help from supporters stationed at the center.
Mayor Park Il-ho said, "I hope this online job fair will be of some help to local residents who are having difficulties in job seeking and recruitment due to COVID-19 and contribute to stabilizing local employment."
