Won-Dollar Exchange Rate Starts at 1199 Won, Up 0.2 Won

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] On the 13th, the KRW-USD exchange rate started at 1199.0 won.

At 9:06 AM in the Seoul foreign exchange market on the same day, the KRW-USD exchange rate was 1.3 won lower than the previous day's closing price, at 1197.5 won per dollar.

The exchange rate began trading 0.2 won higher but slightly fell, fluctuating between 1196.4 and 1199.0 won in the early session.

At the same time, the KRW-JPY recalculated exchange rate was 1054.66 won per 100 yen, down 4.96 won from the previous day's 3:30 PM reference price of 1059.62 won.
