AhnLab V3 Scores Perfect in 'AV-TEST' PC Antivirus Evaluation

[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] AhnLab announced on the 12th that its integrated security solution V3 achieved a perfect overall score in the August PC antivirus evaluation conducted by the global security product testing organization 'AV-TEST.'

AhnLab V3 participated in the PC antivirus evaluations for two categories?individual users and corporate users (Windows 10 environment)?by AV-TEST, receiving perfect scores in all evaluation criteria: 'Protection,' which assesses the detection rate of the latest malware; 'Performance,' which evaluates the impact on PC performance when the solution is running; and 'Usability,' which measures false positives (each category scored out of 6 points, with a total perfect score of 18 points).

In this evaluation, V3 was also selected as a 'Top Product,' an award given to top-ranking products. With this, V3 has continued its record of being selected as a 'Top Product' in the last three consecutive PC antivirus evaluations for individual and corporate users (April, June, and August 2021).

Han Chang-gyu, head of AhnLab Security Emergency response Center (ASEC), said, "AhnLab is the only company in Korea that has participated in AV-TEST's security solution tests since 2012, achieving top global rankings," adding, "We will continue to strive for a safer internet environment based on the technology verified through global evaluations."
