[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the morning of the 9th, Chaehyunil, the mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, visited the Dangsan Badminton Court and Anyangcheon Comprehensive Sports Belt, which had recently reopened after being closed due to COVID-19, to communicate with users.

The visit was arranged because, although outdoor sports facilities had been practically difficult to operate under the 4th level social distancing restrictions limiting private gatherings, it became possible to allow up to 1.5 times the minimum number of players per sport, as in level 3, if additional participants were fully vaccinated.

Mayor Chae said, “I am pleased that outdoor sports facilities have reopened,” and added, “We will do our best to maintain a response system that balances quarantine measures and daily life until COVID-19 is eradicated.”
