70s Man Strangles Wife to Death in Car, Then Jumps to His Death

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] An incident occurred where a man in his 70s killed his wife in her 60s inside a passenger car and then died by jumping to his death.

According to the Yeongju Police Station in Gyeongbuk on the 9th, at around 6:57 PM on the 8th, Mr. A (70) killed his wife, Mrs. B (61), inside his Grandeur passenger car at the Yongam Intersection in Hamang-dong, Yeongju City.

After the crime, Mr. A fell about 15 meters down to the riverbed from the nearby Yongam Bridge and died.

The police stated, "It is presumed that Mr. A strangled his wife Mrs. B to death inside the car and then took his own life by jumping," and added, "We are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident."

It is known that the deceased Mr. A left a note for his family.
