[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] On the 7th, KT announced that it will start a healthcare kiosk service in collaboration with the startup Jena, which possesses technology to analyze biometric data using artificial intelligence (AI).
The healthcare kiosk introduced by KT and Jena provides health management services by integrating KT’s healthcare-specialized video call solution with Jena’s JenaCare health data analysis solution.
The healthcare kiosk measures more than eight types of health data, including blood pressure, blood sugar, body fat, body temperature, and heart rate, and also offers a survey service that allows users to directly check their current health status. The measured health data can be checked in real time on the user’s smartphone.
In particular, a personalized prevention and management service based on expert video consultation is also available. The video consultation is based on a personal information third-party provision technology that allows users to safely manage and control their personal information.
KT plans to first introduce the healthcare kiosk at the ‘KT Songpa Building’ to support individual employee health management and to actively target the healthcare market.
Seungtaek Baek, Executive Director of KT’s Data Infrastructure DX Business, said, “Through cooperation with Jena, KT will supply healthcare video call solutions to companies, hospitals, and public sectors, and provide various healthcare DX (digital transformation) services.”
