[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] On Wednesday the 6th, the whole country will be mostly cloudy with many clouds, and rain is expected in the Yeongdong region of Gangwon Province and the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk.

Scattered raindrops will fall sporadically in the central region and inland Gyeongbuk, and sporadic rain will also occur in the northern part of Jeonbuk from the afternoon. Expected precipitation amounts are 20?60mm in Yeongdong, Gangwon, 10?40mm in northeastern Gyeonggi, Gangwon Yeongseo, and the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk, and 5?10mm in the metropolitan area excluding northeastern Gyeonggi, Chungcheong, inland Gyeongbuk, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo.

The morning low temperature is forecast to be between 15 and 21 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature will range from 18 to 29 degrees Celsius, with Seoul at 22 degrees, Gwangju at 29 degrees, and Daegu at 24 degrees. Fine dust levels will be 'Good' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the influence of rain.

Strong winds and very high waves will occur in the central East Sea until the afternoon, so ships navigating or fishing should exercise special caution. Swells will strongly surge onto the sandy beaches along the East Coast, so precautions against coastal safety accidents are necessary.

Sea waves will be 1.0?3.5 meters in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5?1.0 meters in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5?1.5 meters in the South Sea nearshore. Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 1.0?3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5?1.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5?2.0 meters in the South Sea.
