GC Green Cross Holds 54th Anniversary Ceremony

[Asia Economy, reporter Lee Chunhee] GC Green Cross announced on the 5th that it held a ceremony to mark its 54th anniversary at the Mokam Building, its headquarters located in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province.

This anniversary ceremony was held in accordance with government COVID-19 prevention guidelines, with only a minimum number of attendees such as award recipients present on-site, while being simultaneously broadcast online to allow employees from all affiliates and business sites nationwide to participate.

In his anniversary address, Ilseop Heo, Chairman of GC (Green Cross Holdings), expressed his gratitude to employees for their dedication in growing the company while upholding integrity even during the COVID-19 crisis. He stated, "Let us continue to shape the future of change with unwavering spirit, even in uncertain times." He particularly emphasized, "We will focus on our existing businesses in which we have excelled, work to expand our presence in the global market, and continue to increase investment in the development of our digital healthcare business sector."

During the event, various awards were presented, including the "Green Cross Medal," an honor given to employees who have contributed to the company's growth. The Green Cross Medal was awarded to four individuals: Kim Myungwon (GC Green Cross Production Division), Jang Sohye (Domestic Sales Division), Jang Cheolyi (GC Green Cross Labcell Sales Division), and Hong Seongmin (GC Green Cross iMed Gangnam Medical Division). In addition, group commendations were presented to 15 teams, including the GC Management Support Office General Affairs Team.
