[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Korea McDonald's announced on the 5th that it will conduct an open recruitment for restaurant managers nationwide in the 4th quarter.
McDonald's is conducting regular open recruitment for full-time positions four times this year, once each quarter.
The restaurant manager position being recruited this time involves overall restaurant operations, including customer management, sales management, quality control, and personnel management.
Applicants must submit their documents on the headquarters recruitment website by the 11th. Afterward, they will go through document screening, first interview, restaurant practice, and executive interview processes. Those finally selected will grow into global food service management experts through systematic education and training programs.
McDonald's offers opportunities for conversion to full-time shift managers not only to open recruitment applicants but also to existing hourly employees.
Additionally, managerial managers are given opportunities to grow into store managers overseeing the entire restaurant or regional restaurant managers, and further, they can transfer to various departments at headquarters such as marketing, HR, finance, and IT to build a broad career. In fact, about half of the employees at Korea McDonald's headquarters started their careers in restaurants.
