Hyundai Motor Strengthens Benefits for Commercial Customers with Customer Care Program Implementation

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 5th that it will implement various customer care programs to enhance benefits for commercial vehicle customers.

First, starting this month, Hyundai Motor will launch the 'Commercial Purchase Financing Program' in partnership with Hyundai Commercial. This program is designed to substantially reduce the burden of monthly installments felt by customers, featuring ▲the industry's first ultra-long-term installment plan (up to 120 months for large trucks) ▲reduced installment interest rates (up to 0.9 percentage points reduction for large trucks) ▲introduction of a standard bus installment plan (minimum interest rate of 4.8%).

In addition, Hyundai Motor and Hyundai Commercial will run the 'Safe Driving Hero Program' to encourage safe driving among freight truck drivers and improve the negative perception of truck drivers.

The Safe Driving Hero Program offers an immediate 0.5 percentage point reduction in installment interest rates to 200 customers who purchase Hyundai Motor's medium-large truck Pavis and sign the Safe Driving Hero pledge. Furthermore, customers who achieve a safe driving score of 65 or higher one year after enrollment will receive an additional 0.5 percentage point reduction in installment interest rates.

In the Safe Driving Hero Program, Hyundai Motor will provide free support for mobile digital tachographs (DTG) and safe driving education, while Hyundai Commercial will be responsible for overall program management.

Meanwhile, Hyundai Motor has integrated the previously separately operated commercial membership program into the Blue Members program without distinction between passenger and commercial vehicles, offering differentiated benefits.

A Hyundai Motor official stated, "We have prepared these programs to provide practical benefits to commercial vehicle customers and to establish a culture of safe driving and improve awareness. Hyundai Motor will continue to introduce various care programs for commercial vehicle customers who are leading the mobility industry in logistics and transportation sectors in Korea."
