"Healthy Younger Brother... Became Like a Corpse After First Pfizer Dose" 청원 to Blue House

[Asia Economy Reporter Seoyoung Kwon] A national petition has been posted claiming that the younger brother collapsed after receiving the first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

On the 1st, a petition titled "My younger brother became a vegetable overnight after the first Pfizer dose" was posted on the Blue House national petition board. As of 5 p.m. today (the 2nd), the petition has garnered over 1,300 signatures.

The petitioner stated, "My younger brother is a healthy 47-year-old single man," and began, "He received the first Pfizer vaccination on September 8 and said he only experienced some arm pain and slight fatigue, with no other discomfort." They continued, "On September 27, while on his way to work, he experienced chest pain and difficulty breathing and called 119 for emergency assistance himself," adding, "When I received the call and arrived at the emergency room, the doctor said a myocardial infarction was suspected and that immediate intervention was necessary."

The petitioner also said, "Before entering the procedure room, my brother made eye contact with me and was fully conscious," but added, "Shortly after, the doctor came out and said he had suffered cardiac arrest during the procedure and was undergoing CPR." The petitioner explained, "My brother had mild hypertension but was otherwise very healthy," and said, "He is now lying like a log in the intensive care unit, connected to ECMO, a pacemaker, and a ventilator."

The petitioner claimed, "When I mentioned the side effects shortly after vaccination, the hospital said there was no causal relationship," and stated, "A healthy man in his 40s who smoked became a vegetable after vaccination." Furthermore, they said, "Our mother is devastated, crying endlessly as her once healthy son has become a vegetable," and appealed, "As his sister, all I can do is cry and pray for my younger brother; I feel sorry and frustrated."
