The iPhone 13 series consists of four models: ▲iPhone 13 (6.1 inches) ▲iPhone 13 Mini (5.4 inches) ▲iPhone 13 Pro (6.1 inches) ▲iPhone 13 Pro Max (6.7 inches). Although there are no significant changes in appearance compared to the previous generation, it features the ‘A15 Bionic’ chip, which improves CPU processing performance by up to 50%, enhancing overall performance. The domestic retail prices start from ▲iPhone 13 Mini at 950,000 KRW ▲iPhone 13 at 1,090,000 KRW ▲iPhone 13 Pro at 1,350,000 KRW ▲iPhone 13 Pro Max at 1,490,000 KRW, depending on storage capacity. The official release date is the 8th.
◆Event for 1,313 ‘Uju Pass’ Subscribers
SK Telecom has prepared differentiated benefits for iPhone customers who frequently use Apple accessories as it begins pre-orders for the iPhone 13 series.
Until November 30, customers who purchase the iPhone 13 series with a new contract under the 5GX Platinum plan will receive Bluetooth wireless earphones AirPods Pro and a MagSafe Duo charger for free. Under the 5GX Platinum promotion, customers who newly subscribe or renew their contract and purchase AirPods Pro and MagSafe Duo charger on installment will receive a full discount on the installment payments from SK Telecom. There are plans to add benefits allowing customers to choose other Apple accessories or devices beyond AirPods Pro and MagSafe Duo in the future.
There are also abundant events linked with SK Telecom’s subscription service ‘T Uju’. To coincide with the launch of the iPhone 13 series, SK Telecom will hold an ‘iPhone 13 Genuine Accessories Special Exhibition’ on 11st and provide a 10,000 KRW discount coupon for iPhone accessories on a first-come, first-served basis to customers subscribed to the subscription package product ‘Uju Pass’ until October 31. Additionally, from October 8 to 31, a prize event will be held for ‘Uju Pass’ subscribers. Among customers who subscribe to ‘Uju Pass’ during the event period, 1,313 winners will be selected by lottery to receive prizes such as ▲Samsung Bespoke Cube Refrigerator ▲Baskin Robbins Block Pack, among others.
◆Dawn Delivery and Same-Day Courier Service
SK Telecom has prepared for customers to easily pre-order the iPhone 13 series and receive their devices on the earliest possible date through the official online mall T Direct Shop. A simple reservation page requiring only basic information such as name, model name, and phone number has been prepared on T Direct Shop to facilitate convenient reservations for customers.
Moreover, during the pre-order period, all customers who made the first round of iPhone 13 pre-orders on T Direct Shop will be able to receive their devices on the release date, the 8th, through dawn delivery and same-day courier services.
From October 1 to 14, SK Telecom will also hold a ‘Apple Genuine Accessories Discount Coupon’ lottery event for customers who purchase and activate the iPhone 13 series on T Direct Shop. Customers can receive discount coupons worth 100,000 KRW (200 winners), 50,000 KRW (300 winners), and 30,000 KRW (500 winners) through the event, which can be used to purchase AirPods Pro, Apple genuine cases, MagSafe chargers, AirTags, and more sold on T Direct Shop.
Special benefits will also be provided to customers who issue a ‘Tida Lotte Card’ on T Direct Shop and purchase the iPhone 13 series. These customers will receive a total discount benefit of up to 706,000 KRW over two years, including a maximum fee discount of 576,000 KRW and cashback of 130,000 KRW, depending on their spending.
◆Collaboration Campaign with Mobeer Works
SK Telecom is conducting a special campaign ‘0 X Mobeer Works’ for iPhone 13 series buyers through collaboration between its 1020-exclusive brand ‘0’ and MZ generation-favored brand Mobeer Works. Through the campaign, branded content under the motto ‘For Your iPhone13 (FYi)’ will be showcased and various events will be held.
From the launch date on October 8 to November 4, the two companies will provide various prizes by lottery to customers who purchase the iPhone 13 series, including ▲iMac (2 winners) ▲MacBook Air (3 winners) ▲iPad Pro 11-inch (8 winners) ▲AirPods Pro (13 winners) ▲Limited edition goods sets including mood light speakers, diaries, cases (2 types: 500 and 4,500 winners respectively).
Participants can enter the event after activating the iPhone 13 series through SK Telecom’s online and offline channels, by applying via a separate event page announced on the T World webpage/app or the ‘0 Handong’ app.
◆Up to 1,000,000 KRW Discount Purchase Benefits
SK Telecom has prepared partnership benefits with four credit card companies?Shinhan Card, Woori Card, Hana Card, and Lotte Card?that allow customers who want to purchase the iPhone 13 series at a lower price to receive discounts of up to 600,000 KRW.
Additionally, if customers return their existing iPhones through T World’s T Manager or Minpit Safe Trade Kiosk, they can receive compensation worth about 500,000 KRW for an iPhone 11 Pro 256GB model through T Safe Compensation (trade-in). Customers using smartphones from other manufacturers can also receive a certain amount when returning their existing devices.
With the launch of the iPhone 13 series, SK Telecom also introduced the ‘5GX iPhone 13 Club,’ which offers compensation of half the retail price when upgrading to the next device.
The ‘5GX iPhone 13 Club’ is designed as a program with lower fees than existing upgrade programs, allowing early upgrades at the 19th month and device returns even if there is screen burn-in. SK Telecom expects this program to enable customers to replace their iPhones more quickly and with less burden.
