[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Pepper Savings Bank will hold the inaugural ceremony for the women's professional volleyball team AI Peppers.
According to Pepper Savings Bank on the 29th, the women's volleyball team AI Peppers, based in Gwangju Metropolitan City, is set to be established. The inaugural ceremony will take place in Gwangju on the 30th at 3 PM in the main conference room of Gwangju City Hall. The event will include the founding ceremony, uniform unveiling, and a press conference with the coach and players. Considering the COVID-19 situation, the event will be broadcast live online.
Attendees at the ceremony include Matthew Jang, CEO of Pepper Savings Bank; Lee Yong-seop, Mayor of Gwangju Metropolitan City; Kim Yong-jip, Chairman of the Gwangju Metropolitan Council; Lee Byung-hoon, member of the National Assembly from the Democratic Party; and Shin Mu-cheol, Secretary General of the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO).
Matthew Jang, CEO of Pepper Savings Bank, stated, “With the help of the Korea Volleyball Federation, each team, and Gwangju City, we were able to smoothly complete the preparations for the founding.
