[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] The Jeonnam Gokseong-gun (Governor Yoo Geun-gi) Healthy Family Multicultural Family Support Center announced on the 28th that it won the Grand Prize in the Storytelling Contest at the 3rd Jeollanam-do Multicultural Family Festival (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Multicultural Festival’).
This year’s Multicultural Festival was held under the theme ‘Family Love and Namdo Love with Multicultural Families’ at the Naju Jungheung Gold Spa Resort online set. A total of 62 teams from 22 cities and counties in Jeollanam-do participated through videos, and through online judging, 5 teams for storytelling and 5 teams for talent contests advanced to the finals.
From Gokseong-gun, 3 teams participated in storytelling and 1 team in the talent contest. One storytelling team advanced to the finals and won the grand prize. With this, Gokseong-gun earned the honor of winning the grand prize in the storytelling category for two consecutive years since 2020.
