[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyewon] Lotte Chemical and Bumhan Fuel Cell announced on the 28th that they signed a "Business Agreement for Establishing a Carbon Neutrality and Eco-friendly Business Partnership" on the 27th at Bumhan Fuel Cell headquarters in Changwon, Gyeongnam. The signing ceremony was attended by Kim Yeonseop, Executive Director of Lotte Chemical's ESG Management Headquarters, and Jung Youngsik, CEO of Bumhan Fuel Cell.
Through this agreement, both companies aim to contribute to the activation of the hydrogen economy by building a carbon neutrality and eco-friendly business partnership, utilizing each company's know-how and infrastructure to expand the hydrogen value chain.
Lotte Chemical and Bumhan Fuel Cell plan to collaborate across various fields through joint development and investment in eco-friendly technologies, including ▲ hydrogen fuel cell power generation business ▲ hydrogen fuel cell related businesses ▲ and reviewing additional projects utilizing each company's infrastructure.
Executive Director Kim said, "We expect that through mutual cooperation, both companies can contribute to the activation of an eco-friendly hydrogen economy within a continuously growing hydrogen industry ecosystem." CEO Jung stated, "Through the implementation of this agreement, the eco-friendly hydrogen industries of both companies will make a significant leap forward."
