[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] SK Innovation announced on the 28th that it plans to invest 5.1175 trillion KRW to expand its battery business in the United States.
The investment will be carried out through the establishment of a joint venture with Ford Motor Company in the US and investment in new battery factories. The investment period is from this October to December 2027.
