According to the Busan Police Agency on the 27th, at 12:03 PM that day, a 1-ton cargo truck overturned and caught fire about 100 meters from Jang-an IC in Jang-an-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan.
The fire was extinguished within 17 minutes by 119 rescue workers who responded to the report, but the truck driver died.
Two of the three lanes are closed, causing a 2 km traffic jam behind.
The police are investigating the exact cause of the accident, believing that the cargo truck caught fire after overturning while carrying paint to Ulsan.
