Sales Worth 3 Billion Won Over 3 Months
[Gurye=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yuk Miseok] Jeollanam-do Gurye-gun (Governor Kim Sunho) announced on the 27th that starting from the 1st of next month, it will conduct a 10% special discount sale to prevent the outflow of local funds and stimulate consumption, thereby revitalizing the local commercial district.
The special discount sale will be promoted on a scale of 3 billion KRW and will switch to a 2% general discount sale once the amount is exhausted.
The Gurye Sarang Gift Certificates in paper form can be purchased at 13 financial institution branches including NH Nonghyup Bank Gurye Branch, Gurye Nonghyup, Sandong Nonghyup, Gurye Livestock Cooperative, and Gurye-Bongseong Saemaeul Geumgo.
The card-type gift certificates can be issued and recharged through 11 financial institution branches such as NH Nonghyup Bank Gurye Branch, Gurye Nonghyup, Sandong Nonghyup, Gurye Livestock Cooperative, and via the mobile app CHAK.
The monthly purchase limit per person is limited to 1 million KRW (500,000 KRW for paper type and 500,000 KRW for card type).
The purchased gift certificates can be used like cash at Gurye-gun affiliated stores (916 paper-type locations, 759 card-type locations).
Governor Kim Sunho of Gurye-gun said, “I hope that this special discount sale will benefit not only small business owners but also the consuming residents,” and added, “Since the Gurye Sarang Gift Certificates have a virtuous cycle effect on the local economy, I expect it to contribute to the revitalization of the real economy.”
