[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Changwon City, Gyeongnam, will hold the 21st Masan Chrysanthemum Festival at Masan Marine New City for 12 days starting October 27.
According to the city on the 27th, this year's Chrysanthemum Festival is preparing both the vehicle mobile viewing method introduced last year and the walking viewing method where visitors can see and enjoy the festival in person, while monitoring the spread of COVID-19.
However, to ensure a safe festival, visitors who wish to view on foot will be allowed entry to the festival site only after verification of vaccination status, and only those who have received the second dose will be permitted.

Various programs will also be prepared to enjoy the Chrysanthemum Festival at home, such as chrysanthemum experience kits.
Mayor Heo Seong-mu said, "We will do our best to prepare this festival well so that not only the citizens of Changwon who are fighting against COVID-19 but also the entire nation can gain comfort, courage, and new hope for the recovery of daily life."
