Enhancing Understanding of the 'High School Credit System' for Teachers at 19 Middle Schools in the District
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] The Guri-Namyangju Office of Education in Gyeonggi Province is operating the 'High School Credit System Visiting Middle Schools' program to enhance middle school teachers' understanding of the high school credit system.
According to the Office of Education on the 27th, the 'High School Credit System Visiting Middle Schools' is a training program designed to improve middle school teachers' understanding of the high school credit system and high school curriculum ahead of the phased implementation of the general high school credit system in 2022.
The program is conducted a total of 19 times for middle schools that applied in advance, with teachers from the high school credit system field support team visiting schools at requested times to provide training directly.
Superintendent Shin Sook-hyun stated, "We will support middle school teachers in enhancing their understanding of the high school credit system and high school curriculum to assist career and academic guidance centered on the curriculum, and ensure that the middle school free semester system and the high school credit system curriculum are linked."
