[Asia Economy, Reporter Park Jongil] Seongdong District (District Mayor Jeong Wonoh) will host a "Seongdong Mihaeng YouTube Live" event with popular mukbang YouTuber "Tzuyang" on September 29.

The "Seongdong Mihaeng YouTube Live" will feature "Seongdong Outing," where Tzuyang, a YouTube creator with 4.3 million subscribers, walks through Seoul Forest introducing local tourism resources, and a "Seongdong Gourmet Restaurant Mukbang" held at Understand Avenue.

The event will showcase the autumn scenery of Seoul Forest, a healing space for citizens surrounded by lush greenery, and will introduce hidden stories and popular photo spots along the walking paths.

At Understand Avenue, a job-creation platform pursuing social value, a "Virtual Gourmet Restaurant Tour" will be held, where Tzuyang will sample and review dishes from nine renowned Seongdong restaurants, captivating viewers with her signature mukbang style.

Viewers can interact with Tzuyang in real time via chat and participate in a quiz event to win prizes. Anyone can join this live broadcast through the official YouTube channel of Seongdong District Office, which delivers lively updates about the district.

"Seongdong Mihaeng" is a project selected through the Seoul City "Village Travel in Seoul" competition, aiming to discover hidden tourism content and provide unique information on enjoying local attractions.

Earlier this month, the Seongdong District website (Culture and Tourism section) began offering video guides for various themed locations, such as "Hanyang University, Budget-Friendly Dates," "Seongsu, Photo Spots," "Ttukseom, Seoul Forest Romantic Picnic," and "Geumnam Market, Nostalgic Old Shops."

The district has also selected "70 Must-Try Seongdong Restaurants" and provides information on recommended attractions such as Cheonggyecheon, Wangsimni Square, Songjeong Embankment Road, as well as themed travel courses like Seongsu Blue Clean, Seongsu Cafes, and Seongsu Handmade Shoes. This information is available on the district website along with a tourist map, supporting residents' cultural activities in daily life.

District Mayor Jeong Wonoh stated, "We have created an opportunity to promote Seongdong to residents through real-time communication," adding, "I hope this Seongdong Mihaeng live broadcast will widely publicize the district's diverse tourism and culinary resources, attracting many visitors to Seongdong and contributing to revitalizing the local economy."

The door to employment is opening for female job seekers.

Gangseo District in Seoul (District Mayor Noh Hyunsong) has announced it will hold a "Non-Face-to-Face Women's Job Fair" targeting women struggling to find employment due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.

The event aims to provide stable jobs for women who have experienced career interruptions or other challenges. The fair is co-hosted with Yangcheon District, Seoul Southern Employment Center, Gangseo Employment Center, Seoul Women's Development Center, and Gangseo Women's New Employment Center, and will be held on October 8 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the multipurpose room on the third floor of the Health Healing Culture Center (54 Nambusunhwan-ro 83-gil, Yangcheon District).

A total of 12 companies will participate, planning to hire about 100 people for positions such as instructors, counselors, pet care specialists, and product sorters.

At the fair, one-on-one non-face-to-face video interviews between companies and job seekers will take place. Job seekers will use video interview booths at the venue to connect online with company representatives. To prevent COVID-19 infections, job seekers may only participate at their pre-assigned times.

A separate photo booth will also be available, offering free resume photo services. Women wishing to participate should apply to the Gangseo District Job Center by October 5. Applicants will undergo an initial document screening, and only those who pass will be eligible to participate in the job fair. For more details, visit the "Notices/News" section of the Gangseo District Office website.
