By region, there were 39 cases in Gimhae, 21 in Changwon, 3 in Yangsan, 2 each in Jinju, Sacheon, Changnyeong, and Hadong, and 1 each in Tongyeong, Miryang, Geoje, Haman, Hamyang, and Geochang.

Except for one overseas entrant, all others were infected locally.

The cluster of confirmed cases in the Gimhae and Changwon areas is related to a foreign restaurant located in Gimhae.

At this restaurant, starting with 4 confirmed cases on the 23rd, 14 and 17 cases were confirmed on the 24th and 25th, respectively.

As of this day, the cumulative number of confirmed cases linked to this restaurant has increased to a total of 35.

The other confirmed cases are known to have had contact with confirmed patients within the province, such as family and acquaintances, or met confirmed patients from other regions like Daegu and Busan.

There were also cases that tested positive during quarantine.

As of 5 p.m. on this day, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the Gyeongnam area rose to a total of 11,093 (406 hospitalized, 10,654 discharged, 33 deceased).
