Kakao Pay employees are taking a commemorative photo at the Consumer-Centered Management Declaration Ceremony.
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Kakao Pay announced on the 24th that it held a 'Consumer-Centered Management' declaration ceremony in line with the enforcement of the Financial Consumer Protection Act (FCP Act).
The declaration ceremony, held the previous day with CEO Ryu Young-jun and key executives in attendance, was organized to express Kakao Pay's commitment to consumer-centered management and the protection of consumer rights based on the value of 'Financial Services You Can Trust,' and to pledge the employees' dedication to these principles.
On this day, Kakao Pay proclaimed the Financial Consumer Protection Charter and conducted a pledge ceremony for its employees. The charter includes ▲ protection of financial consumers' rights, ▲ protection of financial consumers' assets, ▲ provision of clear and transparent service and product information, ▲ active collection of financial consumers' opinions, and ▲ fair and prompt handling of financial disputes.
CEO Ryu stated, “We have recently reviewed and revamped investment and insurance services in accordance with recent financial consumer policies,” adding, “As a leading fintech company, we will take responsibility and continue to lead in protecting consumer rights and fostering genuine innovative financial services in everyday life.”
