[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) is conducting the ‘More Attractive the More You See’ event until November 15th to commemorate its 53rd anniversary.
This event has attracted much attention as the new car ‘Casper’ from Gwangju Global Motors (GGM), created under the ‘Gwangju-type Job’ model, is prepared as the grand prize for first place.
Also, due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic limiting dining out, outings, and travel, the so-called ‘home-staying’ and ‘room-staying’ lifestyle has spread a contactless culture into daily life. Therefore, practical coupons such as Coupang Eats gift certificates and wavve usage vouchers, which many people use, have been prepared as prizes.
The event automatically enters participants when they subscribe to any of 14 financial products including credit cards, savings/deposits, loans, foreign currency savings/deposits, funds, and ISA through Gwangju Bank branches, smart banking (APP), or mobile web banking non-face-to-face channels.
Among the 14 financial products, participants receive one medal per subscribed product type. Those who receive 8 or more medals qualify for a gold medal, 6 or more for a silver medal, and 4 or more for a bronze medal, which determines eligibility for the prize draw.
The winners will be announced on November 29th on the Gwangju Bank website. The prizes include ▲one Gwangju Global Motors (GGM) ‘Casper’ for the gold medal winner ▲two kimchi refrigerators for silver medal winners ▲and for the first 20,000 bronze medal winners, a choice of one among Coupang Eats 10,000 KRW gift certificates, wavve Basic usage vouchers, or a savings account (either a bank-funded savings account worth 11,000 KRW or a foreign currency savings account worth 10 USD).
Additionally, those who earn 2 or more medals will receive GS Convenience Store ‘Biyotte Chocoring’ on a first-come, first-served basis for 10,000 people, and customers with maturing products will receive GS Convenience Store ‘Gohyang Mandu’ on a first-come, first-served basis for 5,000 people.
Song Jong-wook, President of Gwangju Bank, said, “These days, as both body and mind grow weary due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, I hope we can overcome COVID-19 together with our customers through financial services that bring joy.”
