[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Sumi] Actress Kim Bu-seon targeted Gyeonggi Province Governor Lee Jae-myung regarding the preferential treatment allegations in the Daejang-dong development project, saying, "How great it would have been if you had let me in on it just a little while showering money on people I don't even know in Daejang-dong."
On the 22nd, Kim said on her Facebook, "If that had been the case, I might have kept our relationship a secret until the end. It's really a pity," expressing her thoughts.
She also expressed disappointment toward Governor Lee, saying, "I told you to at least send a sack of rice last time, but you completely ignored me."
Kim added, "Now, leaving the secular world behind, you boast that you are walking the path of sacrifice and service like Jesus or Buddha, who did not receive even one won for the 13 million residents," and said, "I send respect and love for that great decision."
On the same day, Kim shared another post criticizing People Power Party lawmaker Hong Joon-pyo's remarks about Governor Lee's Daejang-dong controversy, in which Hong said, "It really feels like watching the movie Asura." Asura is a film depicting the downfall of a mayor involved in various corrupt and illegal activities.
Kim said, "Asura, Lee Jae-myung Gate confirmed," and urged Governor Lee, "Stop muddying the waters and let's go to a special prosecutor."
Earlier, Governor Lee was embroiled in allegations of giving preferential treatment to Hwacheon Daeyu during the public development project of Daejang-dong when he was mayor of Seongnam.
Regarding this, Governor Lee has insisted there was no preferential treatment, saying, "Please investigate the Daejang-dong development preferential treatment allegations thoroughly from A to Z."
At a debate held on the 19th, he said, "(The preferential treatment allegations) are completely untrue," adding, "I used a method not in the system at the time to make Seongnam citizens hit the jackpot."
He emphasized, "If I have committed any wrongdoing or received even one won of unfair profit, I will withdraw my candidacy and resign from public office."
