The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasts that the rain will mostly stop by evening, but will start again at night and continue for two days until the 22nd.
Expected precipitation amounts are 20-70mm (with some areas exceeding 100mm) in the central region (excluding the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk), southern region (excluding the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk), Jeju Island, and the five West Sea islands; 5-20mm in Gangwon Yeongdong, the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk, and Ulleungdo and Dokdo. Especially, from dawn to morning, the western areas and during the day, the eastern areas will experience heavy rain with hourly rainfall of 30-50mm, accompanied by gusty winds, thunder, and lightning in some places.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 19-23°C, and the daytime highs between 25-29°C. By region, the temperatures are expected as follows: ▲Seoul 21-26°C ▲Incheon 22-25°C ▲Suwon 21-27°C ▲Chuncheon 20-26°C ▲Gangneung 21-29°C ▲Cheongju 21-27°C ▲Daejeon 22-26°C ▲Sejong 21-26°C ▲Jeonju 22-28°C ▲Gwangju 21-27°C ▲Daegu 21-27°C ▲Busan 23-25°C ▲Ulsan 22-25°C ▲Changwon 22-27°C ▲Jeju 24-28°C.
The time when the full moon of Hangawi rises is as follows: Seoul at 6:59 PM, Incheon at 7:00 PM, Suwon at 6:59 PM, Gangneung at 6:51 PM, Chuncheon at 6:56 PM, Daejeon at 6:57 PM, Cheongju at 6:57 PM, Daegu at 6:52 PM, Busan at 6:50 PM, Ulsan at 6:49 PM, Gwangju at 6:59 PM, Jeonju at 6:58 PM, and Jeju at 7:00 PM.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' across all regions.
Strong winds and high waves are expected in the West Sea, so vessels engaged in navigation or fishing should exercise caution.
Sea wave heights are expected to be 0.5-2.5m in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5-3.0m in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5-1.5m in the South Sea coastal waters. In the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 1.0-3.5m in the East Sea, 1.5-4.0m in the West Sea, and 1.0-3.0m in the South Sea.
