[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Seohyun] Amid ongoing petitions reporting side effects from COVID-19 vaccines, claims have emerged that two women in their 20s each suffered cerebral hemorrhages after receiving the Pfizer vaccine.

On the 16th, a post titled "25-year-old woman with cerebral hemorrhage after Pfizer vaccine" was uploaded to the Blue House National Petition Board. The petitioner stated, "My niece is a beautiful and healthy 25-year-old woman," adding, "After receiving the Pfizer vaccine at the prime of her life, she complained of headaches for several days and eventually fell into a cerebral hemorrhage, lying unconscious in the intensive care unit of a university hospital."

They continued, "We thought the severe headaches were just side effects of the vaccine and only took headache medicine for several days, which led to this condition," expressing regret, "If only we had not been told at the time of vaccination that 'if you have a headache, just take headache medicine,' it wouldn't have come to this."

They also requested, "Please prioritize covering medical expenses for citizens who have suffered significant physical harm due to the vaccine." As of 9:30 a.m. on the 17th, the petition had garnered 4,474 signatures.

"Headache, ringing in the ears"…Two women in their 20s who received Pfizer vaccine suffer consecutive cerebral hemorrhages On the same day, a petition was posted stating that a 21-year-old daughter with no underlying health conditions collapsed from a cerebral hemorrhage in the emergency room of a university hospital after complaining of headaches, vomiting, and difficulty breathing.

On the same day, another petition was posted claiming that a woman in her 20s collapsed from a cerebral hemorrhage after receiving the Pfizer vaccine. The petitioner stated, "My healthy 21-year-old daughter, who had no underlying conditions, received her first Pfizer vaccine dose on August 4th. On the early morning of the 20th, she suffered severe headaches, vomiting, and difficulty breathing, and collapsed from a cerebral hemorrhage in the emergency room of a university hospital."

The petitioner expressed regret, saying, "I blame myself for not stopping my daughter, who actively volunteered to receive leftover vaccines in support of the vaccine policy." According to the petitioner, their daughter, Ms. A, suffered continuous headaches from the day she received the Pfizer vaccine and complained of irregular menstruation, menstrual pain, and pelvic muscle pain.

Ms. A detailed her condition after vaccination on her blog. She explained, "My arm hurt a bit while waiting for 15 minutes after the vaccine, and when I got home, I had a headache, took medicine, and slept. The next day, my neck and shoulders hurt, and my pelvis was extremely painful?so much that I walked with a creaking sound."

She added, "I often had headaches but thought 'it's probably nothing serious' and ignored them. Then, a few days later, I suddenly heard a ringing sound in my ear, and my head hurt terribly," continuing, "Suddenly, I became short of breath, and my hands and feet started to go numb. I felt sick and even vomited."

Eventually, Ms. A rushed to the hospital, vomited again while waiting for tests, and when she opened her eyes again, she was in the intensive care unit.

Now discharged, she said, "When I reported the side effects to the health center, they told me 'do not get Pfizer for the second dose,' but they were reluctant to acknowledge the vaccine side effects. I hope the treatment for side effects improves so that everyone can get vaccinated with peace of mind."
