60s Woman's Body Found in Gwangju Apartment Suspected Homicide... Police Investigating

According to the Gwangju Western Police Station on the 17th, a woman estimated to be in her 60s, identified as Ms. A, was found dead in an apartment in Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City around 6 p.m. the previous day.

A relative reportedly contacted the police after failing to reach Ms. A for several days and then visiting her residence.

At the time of discovery, Ms. A’s body was in an advanced state of decomposition, and both hands showed signs of being tied with a rope.

Based on these circumstances, the police are focusing on the possibility of homicide, conducting inquiries with people around her, and have requested an autopsy from the National Forensic Service to determine the exact cause of death.
