Kolon Group Resorts and Hotels Launch Three 'Healing in Nature' Packages

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Kolon-affiliated resorts and hotels announced on the 17th that they will introduce three types of 'Healing in Nature' packages that allow guests to relax in nature.

Geumgangsong Ecorium, a stay-type forest recreation facility in Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk, has launched a 'Bookcation' package available until the end of this year, where guests can enjoy meditation and reading while breathing the fresh air of the Geumgang pine forest. The package offers a bestseller book, various 'inner healing' contents such as yoga and trekking, and vegan menu meals that consider health and the environment. Geumgangsong Ecorium is also close to Uljin’s tourist attractions such as Tonggosan Natural Recreation Forest, Bulyoungsa Valley, Euneo Bridge, Uljin Expo Park, and Geumgang Pine Forest Trail. It was selected as a '2021 Wellness Tourism Destination' jointly promoted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization.

Mauna Ocean Resort in Gyeongju offers an 'Autumn Slowcation' package until November 30th, allowing guests to enjoy a private 'forest vacation' at 500 meters above sea level on Dongdae Mountain. The package includes two cups of coffee, early check-in at 2 PM, and late check-out at 12 PM. The 'Outdoor Barbecue Party' package is also available until the 31st of next month. Guests can relax in ocean-view rooms and enjoy an outdoor barbecue dinner creating a camping atmosphere. The menu includes choices according to preference among 'Set A (Hanwoo)' featuring sirloin of Hanwoo grade 1+ or higher with abalone, shrimp, various vegetables, rice, and side dishes; 'Set B (Pork)' offering pork belly and neck meat; and 'Set C (Seafood)' with an increased proportion of seafood. The barbecue is available only for pre-reserved groups from 5 PM to 9 PM daily.

A Kolon-affiliated resort and hotel official said, "As the importance of rest grows due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, we prepared this package so that customers can fully enjoy the tranquil great outdoors and heal." They added, "We will strive for thorough quarantine management so that package users can visit the resorts and hotels with peace of mind."
