[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Local council members in the Busan area have officially declared their support for Kim Du-gwan as the Democratic Party presidential candidate.

These Busan metropolitan and basic council members held a press conference on the 16th at the Busan City Council briefing room, officially declaring, "We support candidate Kim Du-gwan as the 20th Democratic Party presidential candidate for the dismantling of the Seoul Republic, the revival of the underdeveloped and stagnant local areas, and furthermore, the revival of Bu-Ul-Gyeong."

In the declaration of support, they stated, "Candidate Kim Du-gwan, who advocates for balanced national development where local areas prosper evenly, is the right person equipped to work for the development of the Republic of Korea and the bright future of our children," adding, "He is also a clean and flawless candidate who can win against any candidate in the general election."

They continued, "He is the right person to complete the Gadeok New Airport, the gateway airport of the Southeast region, and the Bu-Ul-Gyeong Mega City," explaining the reason for their support by saying, "Only candidate Kim Du-gwan, who has reclaimed barren land into fertile fields, can accomplish this, and it is something that Kim Du-gwan can do even better."

On this day, 20 local council members, including Lee Soon-young, Chairperson of the Education Committee of the Busan City Council, and Jeong Sang-chae, Chairperson of the Operations Committee of the Busan City Council, participated and signed their names.
