Jang Boseong and Kim Yurim, Representative Couple, Donate 3.65 Million Won on Their Child's First Birthday

[Gangjin＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-su] On the 15th, Jeonnam Gangjin-gun announced that on the 14th, Jang Bo-seong and Kim Yu-rim, the representative couple of Dasan Bea-chae Golf & Resort, donated 3.65 million won to wish that children in difficulty within the district would be happy 365 days a year, in celebration of their child Jang Ra-el's first birthday.

The representative couple, Jang Bo-seong and Kim Yu-rim, decided to donate, thinking that helping children in need would be a more meaningful first birthday celebration than holding a party, as the social distancing level 3 was extended due to the spread of COVID-19.

Jang, who is also the third son-in-law of the late Chairman Kim Ho-nam, the founder of Dasan Bea-chae Golf & Resort, stated, "We will become a company and family that serve and share with the local community, honoring my father-in-law's will."

According to the donor's intention, the donation will be designated and entrusted to the Jeollanam-do Social Welfare Community Chest to be used for the welfare of children at child facilities located in Gangjin-gun.

Dasan Bea-chae Golf & Resort, which opened in November 2018, is contributing to revitalizing the local economy and promoting Gangjin amid difficulties faced by tourism businesses and many self-employed sectors due to COVID-19, and is setting an example in the local community through donations for COVID-19 relief funds and talent development funds.

Meanwhile, Dasan Bea-chae Golf & Resort, located on a 450,000-pyeong site embracing the pristine Gangjin Bay, is a 27-hole public golf course with a resort offering views of 14 holes, and is gaining attention as the best domestic stay-type golf course where golf can be played all year round due to its mild climate.
