Mercedes-Benz Also Launches Online Sales "Opening Mercedes Online Shop"

[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Mercedes-Benz Korea announced on the 15th that it has launched the official online sales platform, ‘Mercedes Online Shop,’ and will begin full-scale online sales starting with the certified used car segment.

The company explained that the Mercedes Online Shop was established to support safe vehicle purchases and provide convenience to customers in line with the accelerated online sales trend due to COVID-19.

Mercedes-Benz Korea will start online sales with the certified used car segment. By visiting the Mercedes Online Shop, customers can view the inventory of Mercedes-Benz certified used cars from 23 nationwide, carefully selected quality certified used car showrooms at a glance.

Using the filter function, customers can specify various conditions such as model type, body type, engine type, price, mileage, region, and initial registration date, making it easier to find the desired vehicle.

Once a vehicle is decided, customers can request a quote or proceed with consultation. Alternatively, by using the exclusive ‘Order Now’ feature provided on the Mercedes Online Shop, customers can pay a reservation fee of 1,000,000 KRW online to secure the selected vehicle.

Full refunds are available in case of cancellation, further enhancing customer convenience. Afterwards, customers visit the respective certified used car showroom to complete the remaining process, including contract signing, balance payment, and vehicle delivery.

Mercedes-Benz Korea plans to offer benefits such as warranty extension and support for own-damage accident deductibles to customers who purchase certified used cars through reservation and deposit payment on the online shop by the end of October. Additionally, various prizes will be provided through a lottery.

Lee Sang-guk, Vice President of Sales at Mercedes-Benz Korea, said, "Starting with certified used cars, we will expand online sales to new cars within this year. Our goal is to provide a convenient purchasing environment that bridges offline and online through close cooperation with dealers and to offer the best value to customers."
