62nd Anniversary Commemorative Address and Employee Awards
Ha Seok-ju, CEO of Lotte Construction, stated on the 15th that the company must achieve continuous growth by securing future growth engines through the expansion of overseas business and strengthening developer capabilities.
On this day, CEO Ha delivered a commemorative speech via the company intranet in lieu of a ceremony to express gratitude for the hard work of employees on the occasion of Lotte Construction's 62nd anniversary. Lotte Construction individually awarded a total of 388 people, including this year's Lotte Construction employees, long-term service awards, exemplary employees, and outstanding quality management employees.
CEO Ha emphasized that "'Safety management' is the top priority value that cannot be compromised," and stressed the practice of ESG management pursuing safety management, social value, and eco-friendly businesses. He also ordered to focus on enhancing customer satisfaction by providing services tailored to customer expectations through real estate platform business, proptech, and metaverse.
CEO Ha said, "We must focus on enhancing corporate value and aim to be a sustainable company that continuously grows," and emphasized, "We need to secure growth engines through the expansion of new businesses that will be responsible for Lotte Construction's future and strengthen mid- to long-term growth capabilities through diversification of profit structure."
Meanwhile, Lotte Construction is showing achievements as a developer by winning large-scale complex development projects such as the Magok MICE complex development project, Incheon Geomdan New Town 101 station area development project, and recently the Hanam H2 project.
Overseas, the company is actively promoting global business expansion by winning projects such as the Pakistan Lower Spat Gah hydropower project, Vietnam Ho Chi Minh Non Duc Villa, and Singapore 'J121 Integrated Transport Hub Project.'
Thanks to these achievements, Lotte Construction's sales and operating profit in the second quarter increased by 15.2% and 34.5%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
