Korea Investment & Securities Develops 'Everyday Investment' Service

[Asia Economy Reporter Junho Hwang] Korea Investment & Securities, a subsidiary of Korea Financial Group, announced on the 14th that it obtained the official license for Personal Credit Information Management Business (MyData) from the Financial Services Commission on the 8th.

Having secured the MyData business license, Korea Investment & Securities is developing services focused on the concept of "investment in everyday life." It plans to launch a service in the second half of this year that analyzes customers' consumption patterns and provides customized asset management consulting based on this analysis.

The service will also include AI-powered features such as the AI research service "AIR (AI Research)" developed by Korea Investment & Securities Research Center. Based on customer data, it will provide reports on asset status, areas of interest, and news analysis related to the relevant stocks.

Since January, Korea Investment & Securities has established a Digital Platform Division and focused its capabilities on developing big data infrastructure and analysis engines. It has prepared for the MyData business by signing business agreements with big data specialist NICE Genie Data, AI data analysis platform DeepSearch, and credit information company NICE Credit Information.

President Ilmoon Jung said, "With the acquisition of the MyData business license, we plan to strengthen our data competitiveness and combine data from various fields to provide new value to customers." He added, "To this end, we will continuously expand related businesses by actively recruiting digital specialists."
