FCMT Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Dong-A Fuel Cell for Fuel Cell System Development Cooperation

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] FCMT announced on the 13th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dong-A Fuel Cell to collaborate on the development of fuel cell systems, including the supply of MEA and stacks, which are core components of hydrogen fuel cells.

The signing ceremony took place on the 10th at Dong-A Fuel Cell's production plant in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, attended by Dong-A Fuel Cell CEO Dal-Young Park and FCMT CEO Jung-Kyu Lee, among other officials.

FCMT CEO Jung-Kyu Lee said, "We are pleased to have the opportunity to contribute to Dong-A Chemical, a KOSDAQ-listed company, as it fosters the hydrogen fuel cell business as a future growth engine at the group level. We hope this will be an opportunity for the fusion of both companies' technologies and know-how to create a synergy effect."

Through the agreement, FCMT and Dong-A Fuel Cell will establish a close cooperative relationship, including applying the MEA and stacks supplied by FCMT to the building-use fuel cell systems being developed by Dong-A Fuel Cell.
