[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] KT announced on the 13th that it will start a service that celebrates anniversaries through its customized commerce service 'Madeullan (Madelan: Online Benefits That Truly Delight)', offered to membership customers. Madeullan is a service where users can register the anniversaries of family, friends, or close acquaintances in the KT Membership app, and gifts are delivered on the corresponding dates.
The first gift proposed with the launch of this anniversary service is a bouquet of flowers. KT Membership customers can use the bouquet delivery service, normally priced at 39,900 KRW, through the Madeullan service for 29,900 KRW. If they use KT Membership points (deducting 10,000 points), they can purchase it at 19,900 KRW, which is about a 50% discount from the regular price.
The Madeullan service recommends products based on customers' membership usage patterns and preference data, providing benefits so customers can purchase the items they need at reasonable prices. This service will be available for selecting anniversaries in October from 10 a.m. on the 15th until the 28th via the KT Membership app. Customers who register anniversaries through the 'Tasteful Moments' menu in the Membership app will also receive notification services allowing them to apply for bouquet delivery one month before the anniversary. The bouquets are created by professional florists at the horticultural farm 'Kkotpine' located in Taean-gun, Chungnam Province, and are delivered in customized boxes along with message cards.
To celebrate the launch of the anniversary service, various events will be held. Throughout September, a free delivery fee benefit will be provided to commemorate the launch. Additionally, among customers who pre-register for SMS alerts via the KT Membership app to avoid missing the application start date on the 15th, five will receive cake coupons to use on their special anniversaries.
