"Bruises All Over My Body" Lee Hyun-i: "Husband Told Me Not to Think About Winning, Leading to a Couple's Fight"

Model Lee Hyun shared an anecdote about having a fight with her husband because of soccer on the JTBC variety show "Knowing Bros," which aired on the 11th.

[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Sumi] Model Lee Hyun-yi revealed that she once had a fight with her husband because of her passion for soccer.

On the 11th, the JTBC variety show 'Knowing Bros' featured model-tainers Lee Hyun-yi, Irene, and Jung Hyuk as transfer students, who have taken over not only the modeling world but also broadcasting.

Lee Hyun-yi is currently active on SBS's soccer variety program 'Kick a Goal, Girls.'

During the broadcast, when Lee Soo-geun said, "The production team said you work so hard that you even have bruises all over your body," Lee Hyun-yi showed the bruises on her legs and said, "I used muscles I never used before, so the bruises came from inside. They are not from being hit."

Lee Hyun-yi admitted that she was a weak link at first, saying, "I was really bad, so while my friends practiced for two hours, I practiced for four hours a day."

She continued, "Modeling is a job you do alone. If I fail alone, only I suffer. But this is a team play, so if I fail, it affects the whole team. That sense of responsibility made me work even harder."

She also revealed her sincerity toward soccer, saying, "As a model, I used to eat a lot of eggs. But after starting soccer, I stopped eating eggs because I was afraid of breaking them."

Lee Hyun-yi also shared an anecdote about fighting with her husband because of soccer. Her husband, who was happy that she became more lively after starting soccer, worried about her frequent bruises and injuries and said, "Don't get hurt and don't think about winning; take it easy."

In response, Lee Hyun-yi widened her eyes and expressed disappointment, saying, "Don't think about winning? Why would you say that?" This led to a couple's quarrel, to which Seo Jang-hoon reacted, "That was a comment that sparked the competitive spirit in someone who has a strong desire to win."

Meanwhile, Lee Hyun-yi married non-celebrity Hong Seong-gi in 2012 and has two sons aged 7 and 3.
