The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted on the 10th that due to the influence of a pressure trough passing over the South Sea, rain will fall on Jeju Island and the southern coast of Jeollanam-do, with rain continuing until dawn on the 11th in the southern coast of Jeollanam-do and until daytime on Jeju Island.
Expected precipitation amounts are 20 to 60 mm for Jeju Island and around 5 mm for the southern coast of Jeollanam-do. During the rain on Jeju Island, gusty winds and thunder and lightning are expected in some areas.
From the 11th to the 12th, most inland areas will experience a temperature difference of more than 10 degrees between day and night, and especially on the 12th, the eastern inland areas will see a difference exceeding 15 degrees. The Korea Meteorological Administration emphasized paying attention to health management during the seasonal transition.
The lowest morning temperatures on the 11th by region are expected to be between 17 and 22 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between 27 and 30 degrees Celsius. On the 12th, the expected morning lows are 16 to 22 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs are 27 to 32 degrees Celsius.
With humid air and temperatures dropping overnight, dense fog with visibility below 200 meters is expected mainly in the central inland areas from dawn to morning on the 11th, and fog with visibility less than 1 km is expected in other areas.
