[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Jeju Air announced on the 7th that it will offer discounted sales of ‘Gifticket,’ a travel gift for Chuseok.
Jeju Air is offering the ‘Gifticket,’ an airline ticket gift coupon, at up to 33% off the one-way domestic fare from today until the 19th. This ticket has no restrictions on the number of passengers or dates, allowing anyone to travel during their desired period within the validity period.
The one-way domestic Gifticket fares that cannot be used on weekends (Friday to Sunday) and peak seasons are 49,000 KRW for economy class and 99,000 KRW for Biz Light. Giftickets that can be used on weekends and peak seasons are sold at discounted one-way fares of 89,000 KRW for economy class and 129,000 KRW for Biz Light.
Customers can purchase or gift Giftickets through the KakaoTalk ‘Gift’ feature. After receiving the Gifticket, register it on Jeju Air’s online channel My Page, and apply it as a coupon when booking a flight to make the payment.
The initial registration validity period after purchase is 3 months (93 days), and it can be extended up to 5 years in 3-month increments. After registration, the ticket must be used within 180 days, and once registered, the Gifticket will be considered used after 180 days regardless of whether it has been used or not.
Jeju Air is also running a promotion where customers who purchase and use more than 100,000 points in the membership program Refresh Points will receive additional bonus points. From today until the 19th, customers who purchase and use more than 100,000 points and complete their flight by October 31 will receive an additional 7% of the points used as bonus points.
