[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Heo Kyung-young, Honorary Representative of the National Revolutionary Party who declared his candidacy for the presidential election, claimed on the 6th that all politicians imitate his pledges.

On the same day, Heo posted on his Facebook, saying, "For 30 years, I proposed giving 100 million won as a marriage allowance and 50 million won as a childbirth allowance, and I was mocked as a scammer comedian. Now, the excellence and necessity of my 33 policies have finally been recognized, and all politicians from both ruling and opposition parties have started to follow them."

The '33 policies' mentioned by Heo include ▲ a lifelong monthly payment of 1.5 million won to those aged 18 and over ▲ a marriage allowance of 100 million won ▲ interest-free loans of 200 million won for housing funds ▲ a childbirth allowance of 50 million won per child.

He also mentioned business leaders such as the late Shin Kyuk-ho, Honorary Chairman of Lotte Group, and Kim Hong-guk, Chairman of Harim Group. Heo said, "Shin Kyuk-ho, who used to deliver milk, became the founder of Lotte Group. Kim Hong-guk, who started with 10 chicks, became the founder of Harim Co., Ltd., the number one company in chicken production and sales."

He continued, "Kang Yeo-jung, a neighborhood private tutor, became the founder of Daekyo Group. Kim Kwang-seok, who fled nationwide to avoid police warrants, became the founder of Chamzone Cosmetics. Lee Jang-woo, a sales representative for scrubbers, became the president of Korea 3M, and Jo Un-ho, who graduated from a commercial high school and night college, became the president of Woongjin Foods." This appears to be a roundabout way of saying that although his presence in politics was minimal in the past, it has grown now.

He also posted a photo claiming that former U.S. President Donald Trump recently copied his hairstyle, writing, "Now even the hairstyle."

Earlier, on the 18th of last month, Heo officially declared his candidacy for the presidential election at Haengjusanseong in Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province. He attracted attention by performing a gesture of wearing a Haengju skirt at the launch event. This is Heo's third attempt at the presidency, following 1997 and 2007.

He entered the election scene by registering as a candidate in the 13th presidential election in 1987. Since then, he ran in the 1991 local elections, the 15th presidential election in 1996, and the 17th presidential election in 2007 but was defeated.

In last year's April 15 general election, he ran as a proportional representative candidate for the National Revolutionary Dividend Party but failed to enter the National Assembly due to insufficient votes. He also ran in the April 7 Seoul mayoral by-election but lost, placing third.

Heo has recently been active as a YouTuber through channels such as 'Heo Kyung-young Lecture,' 'Heo Kyung-young Lecture Clips,' and 'Heo Kyung-young TV.'
