Held for Four Days from the 8th at Ilsan KINTEX
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] The Hydrogen Mobility Plus(+) Show Organizing Committee announced on the 5th that the '2021 Hydrogen Mobility+ Show' will be held for four days starting with the opening ceremony at 9:30 a.m. on the 8th at KINTEX in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.
The opening ceremony will be conducted as a video conference using the online non-face-to-face platform Zoom, considering the safety of participants amid the COVID-19 situation. From 2 p.m. onwards, a tour of the exhibition hall will be held with representatives from the host and organizing institutions and participating companies.
This year’s Hydrogen Mobility+ Show features 154 companies and institutions from 12 countries worldwide, including the guest country Sweden, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and the Netherlands, showcasing products and technologies in hydrogen mobility, hydrogen refueling infrastructure, and hydrogen energy sectors.
Domestic companies participating include Hyundai Motor Group, POSCO Group, Hyundai Heavy Industries Group, SK Group, Doosan Group, Hyosung Group, and Kolon Group. Overseas companies setting up exhibition booths include Air Liquide (France), Air Products (USA), AVL (Austria), Saint-Gobain (France), and Witzenmann (Germany).
There are also abundant side events. On the second day of the exhibition, the 9th, from 10 a.m., the 'H2 Innovation Award,' jointly hosted by the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association, Hydrogen Convergence Alliance, Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology, and Korea Energy Technology Evaluation Institute, will select the top innovative companies in the hydrogen industry sector.
Currently, ten companies including Vincen, Hyundai Mobis, Korea Gas Corporation, Doosan Fuel Cell, and POSCO SPS have advanced to the finals, and on that day, three grand prizes and one grand award will be selected through the final presentation session.
On the same day from 10:30 a.m., the 'International Hydrogen Industry Association Alliance Forum' will be held, proposing the establishment of an international cooperation organization targeting private hydrogen and fuel cell associations worldwide.
On the third day of the exhibition, the 10th, from 10 a.m., the 'International Hydrogen Conference' will be held to strengthen international cooperation for revitalizing the hydrogen economy and to share the status, vision, and strategies of major countries implementing the hydrogen economy.
Keynote speakers include Byungok Yoo, Head of POSCO Industrial Gas & Hydrogen Business Division, Kyunghwan Do, President of Hydrogen Energy Network, and Gwese Mete from the Stockholm Environment Institute. The United Kingdom and Chile will unveil their national hydrogen economy roadmaps.
Additionally, a one-on-one export consultation meeting between overseas buyers and participating companies of the 2021 Hydrogen Mobility+ Show will be held. About 180 video consultations are scheduled between 40 overseas buyers discovered through KOTRA’s 127 global trade offices and 30 exhibiting companies.
