Clio Selected as One of the '2021 Global Sustainable Brands 100'

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Clio announced on the 1st that it was selected in the ‘Consumer Recommended Global Sustainable Brands 30’ category among the ‘2021 Global Sustainable Brands 100’ announced by the UN SDGs Association, a special consultative status organization of the United Nations Economic and Social Council.


The UN SDGs Association has been announcing ‘Global Sustainable Leaders and Companies’ since 2019. In its third year this year, it analyzed over 2,000 key global leaders and more than 3,000 global companies to select global sustainable leaders, companies, and brands.


Clio was the only domestic cosmetics company selected, proving its high global ESG competitiveness. It received high scores in areas such as ▲realization of ESG values ▲efforts to preserve the global environment ▲leadership to activate the ESG industry ▲sustainability of governance ▲efforts to use eco-friendly products and packaging.


The ‘Consumer Recommended Global Sustainable Brands 30’ included 30 global brands such as ▲H&M ▲Nespresso ▲Omega ▲Est?e Lauder ▲Herm?s ▲Mercedes-Benz ▲L’Or?al ▲Carlsberg ▲Bottega Veneta ▲Henkel ▲Burger King.


A Clio representative emphasized, “We will make 2021 the first year of ESG management and, as a leading domestic cosmetics brand, lead sustainable growth while exerting a positive influence in various areas such as the environment and society.”
