[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Former Minister of Justice and Democratic Party presidential candidate Chu Mi-ae stated on the 28th, "(Around the disciplinary committee for former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol) Congressman Kim Jong-min met with someone close to me and said, 'Please stop me.'

Former Minister Chu appeared on her YouTube broadcast 'Chu Mi-ae TV' that day and said, "There was opposition within the party when the disciplinary committee for former Prosecutor General Yoon was held during my tenure as minister."

Former Minister Chu said, "The person who heard Congressman Kim's story was so shocked that they couldn't convey it to me at the time. If it had been conveyed then, it would have been very hurtful. It would have caused a mental breakdown," adding, "That person conveyed it after the situation was completely over."

Former Minister Chu said, "I really feel drained by this pathetic situation, and when the party also talked like this, I thought, 'There is really nowhere to rely on, and this is serious.' I was determined and carrying a cross, but I felt that my true intentions were not being conveyed well."
