[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Major European stock markets are mostly showing gains in early trading.

On the 24th (local time), the UK FTSE 100 index was up 5.47 points (0.08%) from the previous trading day, recording 7114.49 in early trading. The French CAC40 index also rose 9.16 points (0.14%) to 6692.26.

The German DAX 30 index increased by 32.80 points (0.21%) to 15,885.59 compared to the previous trading day, and the Euro Stoxx 50 index rose 10.37 points (0.25%) to 4186.79.

Only the Italian FTSE MIB index fell, dropping 14.34 points (0.06%) to 26,031.69.
