[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Dong-joo] On the 24th, Kim Ki-hyun, floor leader of the People Power Party, and other members of the party held signs condemning the ruling party's forced passage of the Media Arbitration Act in front of the National Assembly Judiciary Committee meeting room, shouting slogans.

At this event, Floor Leader Kim stated, "The gag law on the media is a malicious law aimed at annihilating the press," and argued, "If the Democratic Party ignores the Constitution and passes the gag law on the media, today will mark the starting point of the collapse of freedom and democracy in the Republic of Korea."
