[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Dong-joo] On the 24th, the Justice Party and four media organizations held a press conference on the steps in front of the National Assembly main building, urging the suspension of the forced passage of the Media Arbitration Act.

At the event, Bae Jin-kyo, floor leader of the Justice Party, pointed out, "The criteria for presuming intent and gross negligence, as well as the definition of fake news, are ambiguous," adding, "Who would benefit from such ambiguity? It is obvious that former or retired high-ranking public officials and elected officials, their relatives, and companies large enough to file strategic lawsuits, though not large corporations, will flood the courts with lawsuits, escaping the legal net restricted by the Democratic Party."
